Tipsy Night #2 is the second release in the Tipsy Night series from independent bottler The Whisky Tales.

The series began with a simple thought: “They say you see someone’s true self when they’re tipsy…”
The second chapter is titled ‘Two Shots Deep’, capturing a moment when two characters begin to loosen up and let their usual composure fade as the night unfolds.

For this chapter, The Whisky Tales selected a single cask from Tobermory Distillery on Scotland’s Isle of Mull.

Tobermory Distillery is known for producing two distinct styles of single malt. Its unpeated spirit is released as Tobermory, while its heavily peated and smoky spirit is known as Ledaig. This bottling showcases the unpeated side of the distillery.

Distilled on September 8, 2016, the whisky spent nine years maturing entirely in Cask No. 991, a 1st-Fill Bourbon Barrel. The first-fill cask brings forward notes of vanilla, sweet oak, and fresh fruit while allowing Tobermory’s own character to remain clearly present.

After maturation, the single cask was bottled at its natural 60.8% Cask Strength, without chill filtration or added colouring.

A single Tobermory bourbon barrel and a night ‘Two Shots Deep’ — the second chapter of Tipsy Night.
