Royal Salute 21 Year Old was first created in honor of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II on June 2, 1953. To celebrate the new monarch, a ceremonial 21-gun salute was fired, and a whisky blended from spirits aged for a minimum of 21 years was presented to the Queen — marking the beginning of the Royal Salute legacy.
The name “Royal Salute” is inspired by both the British Royal Family and the traditional “Gun Salute,” in which the Royal Navy fires 21 ceremonial rounds as a mark of respect for the monarch during royal occasions.
Presented in its signature porcelain flagon, this whisky is celebrated for its elegant malt character, gentle spice, and soft fruit notes — a refined expression worthy of the most distinguished moments.
