Kilkerran is a single malt brand produced at the Glengyle Distillery, located in the Campbeltown region. Although Glengyle was originally founded in 1872, it remained closed for many decades until it was revived in 2004 by the Springbank Distillery, becoming a symbol of the region’s “renaissance.” Owned by the Mitchell family (of Springbank fame), Glengyle inherits Springbank’s traditional philosophy while maintaining its own distinct distillation methods and character.

The malt is processed at Springbank’s floor maltings and undergoes double distillation. With a light application of peat, Kilkerran is celebrated for its oily yet balanced profile, offering a modern interpretation of the classic, rugged Campbeltown style.
