Jack Daniel was born in Tennessee around 1846 and learned the art of distilling at the young age of fourteen. At his distillery located near Cave Spring Hollow in Lynchburg, he introduced the Lincoln County Process — a signature charcoal mellowing method that creates an exceptionally smooth style of whiskey. Over time, the brand came to embody both the values of the American South and a spirit of rebellious individuality, maintaining its iconic reputation to this day.

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 is known for its distinctive notes of vanilla and caramel, developed through maple charcoal mellowing and maturation in American oak barrels. Loved around the world, this whiskey offers a sweet yet balanced profile, making it one of the most approachable and dependable choices in American whiskey.
