Jack Daniel’s 10 Year Old Batch 4 is the fourth release in the limited high-age series that has been launched annually since its debut in 2021. Unlike the previous batches, which were bottled at 96 proof (48% ABV), Batch 4 is presented at a slightly higher 97 proof (48.5% ABV), enhancing the whiskey’s structure, richness, and overall intensity.

To prevent over-maturation during Tennessee’s intense summer heat, the barrels underwent Jack Daniel’s meticulous “cradle aging” process, where casks are moved from the uppermost level of the barrelhouse — known as the “Buzzard’s Roost” — down to lower floors for more controlled aging conditions.

Compared to Batch 3, Batch 4 is praised for reducing the dry oak tannins while achieving an even finer balance between Jack Daniel’s signature sweetness and its exceptionally smooth texture.
