Established in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands, Glenmorangie was founded by William Matheson, a former farmer, and his wife Anne.
The Glenmorangie bottle features a neck that is longer and more elegant than most other whiskies. This distinctive silhouette was designed to mirror the distillery’s slender stills. Known for having the tallest stills in Scotland—standing at approximately 5.14 meters—the height ensures that only the lightest and purest vapors pass through during distillation. These delicate spirits then mature into a whisky characterized by a refreshingly crisp and clean profile.
Displaying a deep amber hue, Glenmorangie Signet is renowned for its rich espresso and chocolate flavors. Created in 2009 by Dr. Bill Lumsden—a devoted coffee lover—this expression was inspired by the unique aromas of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee. It offers a luxurious palate of toasted almonds, hazelnuts, and sweet candied orange peel, all culminating in a clean, spicy mocha finish.
