Founded in 1826, the GlenDronach Distillery—whose name translates to “Valley of the Blackberries”—is situated in Aberdeenshire in the Scottish Highlands and is recognized as one of the three prestigious masters of Sherry maturation. Since its inception, the distillery has been renowned for its dedication to Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, maintaining a tradition of using exclusively Sherry casks to this day.

GlenDronach 15 Year Old is a quintessential “Full Sherry Single Malt,” meticulously crafted under the guidance of Master Blender Rachel Barrie. It undergoes full maturation in premium Spanish Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks.

According to Rachel Barrie, the vision for this expression was to create the “Ultimate GlenDronach”—a whisky defined by its profound depth, rich body, elegance, and intense notes of dark red fruits.
