Founded in 1826, the GlenDronach Distillery—whose name translates to “Valley of the Blackberries”—is located in Aberdeenshire in the Scottish Highlands and is celebrated as one of the “Big Three” masters of Sherry maturation. Since its early days, the distillery has been renowned for its unwavering commitment to Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, a tradition of Sherry cask excellence that continues to this day.
GlenDronach 10 Year Old Forgue derives its name from the Forgue valley, where the distillery is situated. It is crafted by blending spirits matured for 10 years in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry casks. This expression is a bold and intense Highland malt, bursting with the signature sweetness of Sherry balanced by a robust, spicy character.
