The Glenallachie Distillery is situated at the foot of Ben Rinnes, in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland. As one of Scotland’s few independently owned and operated distilleries, it is currently led by industry legend Billy Walker, who boasts over 50 years of experience in the whisky world.

When Billy Walker acquired the distillery in October 2017, he discovered a vast inventory of aged spirits dating back to the 1970s. Utilizing these stocks, he has produced whiskies of exceptional quality, establishing Glenallachie as a beloved brand among enthusiasts.

The Glenallachie 10 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 12 is a testament to the distillery’s philosophy of wood innovation. This release is crafted from a sophisticated combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, along with Marsala barrels and Virgin Oak casks. This diverse selection of wood creates a beautifully balanced profile, offering the signature honeyed sweetness of Glenallachie alongside layers of stone fruits and warm baking spices.

As with other releases in the Cask Strength series, Batch 12 is bottled at its natural strength without chill-filtration or added coloring, allowing you to experience the full intensity and pure character of the spirit.
