Arran Distillery, established in 1995 as an independent distillery on the Isle of Arran off Scotland’s west coast, has garnered global acclaim despite its relatively short history. Often called “Scotland in Miniature,” the island provides an ideal environment for maturation with its pure water, sea breezes, and mountain air. Arran remains committed to showcasing nature as it is, adhering to non-chill filtration and natural color without any additives.
Arran Machrie Moor Cask Strength is a peated single malt bottled without any dilution, preserving the spirit exactly as it came from the cask. Its name is inspired by a wasteland on the northwestern side of Arran, where legend tells of a giant who tethered his dog to a stone. Matured in bourbon casks and bottled at 56.2% ABV, it features a remarkably clear and clean smoke profile, delivered with the raw power of its natural strength.
