Signatory Cask Strength Collection Glenlivet 17 Year Old
Signatory Vintage is one of the most respected and prolific independent bottlers in the whisky industry, sourcing exceptional casks from more than fifty distilleries across Scotland. Renowned for its commitment to natural presentation, Signatory’s releases are often bottled without chill filtration and at natural cask strength, allowing each whisky to showcase its full character and individuality. All maturation and bottling operations are carried out at the company’s facilities adjacent to Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry.
The Signatory Cask Strength Collection Glenlivet 17 Year Old was distilled in 2006 and matured for seventeen years before being bottled in 2024. Released as Batch No. 51/644, this expression captures the elegant and fruit-forward character for which The Glenlivet Distillery is renowned, while the cask-strength bottling preserves its depth, texture, and complexity.
The nose opens with aromas of ripe cherry, toasted nuts, and rich malt. On the palate, delicate orchard fruits are complemented by gentle spice and black pepper, creating a balanced and refined profile. The finish is long and persistent, carrying subtle spice and malt notes that linger gracefully.
Bottled at natural cask strength and produced in limited quantities, this release offers a more concentrated and expressive interpretation of Glenlivet’s classic Speyside style, making it an appealing choice for both collectors and enthusiasts seeking a distinctive single-cask experience.
