The Glenallachie Distillery is situated at the foot of Ben Rinnes, in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland. As one of Scotland’s few independently owned and operated distilleries, it is currently led by industry legend Billy Walker, who boasts over 50 years of experience in the whisky world.

When Billy Walker acquired the distillery in October 2017, he discovered a vast inventory of aged spirits dating back to the 1970s. Utilizing these stocks, he has produced whiskies of exceptional quality, establishing Glenallachie as a beloved brand among enthusiasts.

The Glenallachie 2012 Vintage Cuvée Wine Cask Finish is a masterful blend within the Wine Cask series, which begins with primary maturation in premium American oak barrels followed by a finishing period in hand-selected European wine barriques. This specific expression is a marriage of spirits finished in four distinct, world-renowned wine casks from Bordeaux, Languedoc, and Valpolicella. The result of Billy Walker’s meticulous cask management is a sophisticated profile featuring elegant stone fruits, roasted almonds, and fragrant orange peel. It is bottled at 48% ABV with its natural golden hue and without chill-filtration.
