The Glenallachie Distillery is situated at the foot of Ben Rinnes, in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland. As one of Scotland’s few independently owned and operated distilleries, it is currently led by industry legend Billy Walker, who boasts over 50 years of experience in the whisky world.

When Billy Walker acquired the distillery in October 2017, he discovered a vast inventory of aged spirits dating back to the 1970s. Utilizing these stocks, he has produced whiskies of exceptional quality, establishing Glenallachie as a beloved brand among enthusiasts.

The Glenallachie 15 Year Old is often regarded as a gift from Billy Walker to the whisky community. Bottled with its natural color and without chill-filtration, this expression is deeply influenced by sherry cask maturation, offering rich notes of dark chocolate and dried fruits. Presenting a deep mahogany hue, it reveals aromas of dark cherry, sweet spices, and toffee. On the palate, flavors of heather honey, orange peel, cocoa, and ginger harmonize beautifully, leading to a finish of pickled figs, hazelnut, and dense brown sugar.
